Frequently asked questions(FAQs): 

Q: Are all supervision sessions online?
A: Yes, all sessions are delivered online via a secure video platform.

Q: Can I use group supervision to meet BACP requirements?
A: Yes, as long as the group is professionally facilitated. Groups of up to 4 can count 50% of the time towards the monthly requirement.

Q: What if I already receive supervision from my placement?
A: You can book 30-minute top-up sessions (£35) to meet your monthly requirement or address additional concerns.

Q: Do I need to prepare for supervision?
A: Yes — planning your cases, questions, or topics helps you get the most out of your session. You can also bring reflections from your training or client work.

Q: Are notes and logs included?
A: Yes, we complete supervision logs and most training reports at no extra cost.

Things to know 

BACP Supervision Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 hours supervision per calendar month

  • Ratio: 1 hour supervision per 8 hours of client work

  • Sessions should be held at least every two weeks

  • Group supervision time can be counted proportionally (50% in groups of 4 or fewer)

  • Peer supervision does not count, but may be a useful additional support
